What a blast I had on this ride. This is certainly, without a doubt, the most intense roller coaster I've ever ridden. Kingda Ka is an experience you will never forget. I will say a big problem is that you sit on the launch straight for so long because of Zumanjaro, but once the ride gets going, it's non stop fun. The launch is by far the best part of the ride. As soon as you take off it is a total adrenaline rush. People say the launch is rough, but if you brace yourself, you shouldn't have a problem. I did find a bit of jostling towards the end of the launch, but nothing too bad. When you shoot up the top hat, and reach the top, you don't even know what hit you. Then all of a sudden you are rocketing towards the ground. A lot of people are not a fan of the spiral but I think it works really well. It fits in some near miss elements which is always fun. Even the large, spread out airtime hill at the end gave some decent airtime. You are flying over it so fast that you actually float up out of your seat. This coaster is the definition of "short but sweet". Everything about this ride is amazing. I will say though, they could have added more to it. I'm fine with a coaster being short, as long as it packs a lot in it. This is why I don't have a problem with the length of a coaster like Skyrush. Even though this ride looks simple, it will certainly give you a ride you will never forget.
Worst experience of all time probably. Just waiting there staring at the big hill. Ugh I think I'd cry. Never been and never will. Such a long wait for such a short experience. Hey Max Sleek I think six flags and cedar point are just two roller coaster parks trying to be the best. Perhaps if they thought they outdid the top thrill dragster they would become the top. Which didn't happen. Copycats never win...
AMAZING RIDE! It's a really long wait (first time I went on it 1 1/2 hours second time maybe 45 mins), but definitely worth it. Almost 130 mph in 3 and 1/2 seconds all the way up to the top which has an amazing view, and when you come down you don't know what's gonna happen next. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
You should pray for rollbacks when you ride Kingda Ka definitely! Also if you want a great view sit in the front row,and if you want to feel the launch more tough, then sit in the back row!
It's a very fun and intense ride! I rode at the back, and thought it was great! The launch was pretty sweet, almost as awesome as the launch on Storm Runner at Hersheypark. The downside was that the ride was so short. 4.5 stars (if Google let me)!
