Great food & drinks and friendly staff.
There was also a stop at the giraffe field where you could pay extra to feed the giraffes and take pictures as they came closer to you and ate the treats. It was a fun moment and very cool to see these beautiful creatures up close.
The other option is to go on a wet day, animals tend to come out more then, and you likely won't have a wait. But call ahead to make sure it's open! Heavy, consistent rains can close the entire park.
Great family day, came early and enjoyed all the family rides. The safari line was long, but worth the wait,as we had a great tour and saw all the animals up close, better than the Zoo.
Nice tour from Six Flags Great Adventure park. You ride in a truck with a guide which is very nice. Usually there is a long wait to go on the tour. In the past you could drive through in your own car and pause/stop to see the animals that are there and you have interest to see. The good side is that now more people see this great Wild Safari park.
This is a large wildlife area, which is neat, and you can see more now than when you used to drive your car through. If I were to give some tips it would be try to go as early as possible, or get one of the last runs of the day, you're likely to see more animals then, probably.
I did the tour for wild safari while at six flags - there was wait to get on the tour bus but not too long of a wait compared to every other ride. This was my first time doing the tour after the change of not driving your own car through the safari. The tour was very enjoyable and well worth the wait. The tour bus drove close enough to the animals to get a good view of them while not disturbing them. I took many pictures - many of which were good up close shots. There was a huge variety of animals to see such as bears, sheep, elephants, elk, giraffes, kangaroos, and lions to name a few.
Definitely recommend the tour to be able to see all types of animals up close in their habitats.
Have a good night
I advise all to come on Sundays,as the crowd was not big, easy to get on rides as the lines were short.
This was our first ever Safari experience, and we enjoyed it! It felt like a warm up session before we decide to go on a real safari. I think this is a worth it experience if it is your first time, or if you have some free time while at the park. Also, it has value for money as it is included in the amusement parks ticket price.
