Oh, and the homemade french onion dip was good too.

Delicious unique food and great service. The restaurant itself is a large room with plenty of seating. The bar is sectioned off on the inside and there is even one on the outside. My meal was excellent: chicken on top of a potato biscuit with bourbon maple syrup. My friend had an amazing hanger steak. We also started off the the fried avocado appetizer: that was so amazing I would have just ordered that & been completely satisfied. Wish I lived closer to see what their "winter 2018" menu will be!
I stopped here because I am always looking for places to eat with different types of dishes. The menu is simple and that is a good thing. I hate when restaurants offer tons of items. I actually couldn't decide between a few items, so I ended up with the double pork burger and homemade french onion chips and dip. While waiting for our food to come out of the kitchen, I enjoyed the outdoor seating and a cool glass of water (because who doesn't love refreshing H2O?). When the food arrived, my mouth was watering and I had hamburger images popping from my eyes. Since I got the double pork burger, it had pork belly on top of the beef patty. I tried a piece of the pork belly to see how that tasted alone, and it was perfect. I will say this though... it comes with a spicy "special sauce" on it. It was good, but I would suggest getting it without it so you can taste the rich meat flavors.
We have been here several times since they first opened. The food is amazing! And now they added sushi! The craft beer selection is always rotating and seriously awesome!! If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. I don't think you will be disappointed....we never are.
And the time I was there, it was pretty dead. There was barely anyone at the restaurant. Maybe because it was a Sunday afternoon? I don't know, but that didn't stop the waiter from being pleasant and knowledge of the menu.
Bartender was great! He was able to recommend the best selection of beers based in our preferences. The sushi was great too.
