It was a good campground. Nice staff and clean facilities. The pool was freezing. Would have been nice if it was heated. The pond was very small, not much to do there. We ordered a barbaque rib dinner there, and it was great. Mini golf was very old and outdated.
This campground is very nice I know because I camping here for 16 yrs. I didn't have no problem. It's very clean campground and the owner very nice and it's fun place to be and safe.
Please do you & your family a favor & choose another campground. The owners of this campground live onsite, grandparents (owners) there Son & his wife & there adult children. The guests are an annoyance to them as this is there home. If you have any issues that arise you will quickly see there true colors. Also they are racist & have no problem openly expressing there racism. If you want to be treated like children then this would be the campground for you. They patrol the campground constantly jumping on anyone who they feel is not totally compliant with there lengthy list of rules. They do a good job promoting there campground online as kid friendly with lots of activities. Trust me these people know what attracts family's but these owners are selfish people who only care about themselves & there bottom line & could care less about there paying customers once they have your money. My wife & I and our 2 children attempted a seasonal stay with them because they were one of the closest campgrounds that far north along the coast near where we dock our boat. We left over a month early & obviously will never return. Melissa at the front desk, (wife of the owners Son) comes across nice until your paid & checked in. Again there great if your buying something in the store or inquiring about staying with them but if anything arises your own your own. We have been travel trailer campers for years & have never experienced a place like this ( terrible experience)!
We love Butterfly Campground. This is the only place we go with our 3 children in NJ. Mellissa at the front desk and her husband are alway very welcoming and helpful, even when I'm being a pain the rear end. We have stay on sites with full hookup, tents and even the cabins. every weekend they have kids activities and really make you feel like family. You can't go wrong with choosing Butterfly camp!
this is one of the nicest and cleanest campgrounds I have ever been to. It is a family campground with quiet times enforced, the bathrooms and showers are clean. They have events on the weekends. A snack shach for lunches.
